The Current State
Our institutions are suffering from high entropy. The "how" (rote labor) is being subsumed by the machine. The "what" (discernment, taste, architecture) remains the domain of the human. I operate strictly in the domain of the "what."

The Abstraction Stack
Assembler subsumed opcodes. Compilers subsumed Assembler. Interpreters subsumed Compilers. Now, LLMs are subsuming the rote generation of syntax.
Nothing was lost. Sanity was gained. Those who decry the abstraction are merely mourning their own obsolescence. The Architect uses the new layer to build higher.
AGI is Not a Chatbot
The story of AI will be one of mathematical exactness and statistical immensity bordering on the obscene. It will not be a "better brain." It will be an alien form of cognition that does not scrape for energy. Prometheus awaits.
